All India Cultural Awareness Examination For Students -
Bodhmala books have been published by Vidya Bharati Sanskriti Shiksha Sansthan and on the basis of the self study of these books, the Cultural Awareness Examination and quiz competitions are organized at all India level. The Cultural Awareness Examination is being welcomed beyond expectation by students and various other institutions. The continuous increase in the number of examinees is the evidence of the popularity of the examination.
Request to the Principal -
Along with the schools affiliated with Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan, the Govt. and other private schools are also joining this examination and this demand is increasing every year. Well, we should also contact other schools and motivate them for this. In all Vidya Bharati schools, it is mandatory to implement it for all the students and teachers. So all the students from class 4 to 12 of our schools should participate in this examination.
Examination Procedure -
Separate booklets containing relevant material have been prescribed for each class from class 4 to 12. Class wise question papers are based on these books. The language and forms of questions can be varied but the essence and subject matter will be based on the book.
In each and every class book information has also been given about national and international achievements along with the ancient heritage of Indian culture. Each book has seven chapters in it.

OMR Answer Sheet - Our teenage Students will be required to undertake many competitive examinations in the near future.With this view, this year the question papers of class 9 to 12 and the Praveshika,Madhyama,Uttama and Pragya Examination will be of objective multiple option type of which shall be given on separate sheets. The correct answer from the four options shall have to be given in front of the related question on the answer sheet with the figure (O) to be blackened with ball point pen.
Book Remittance -
The booklets are sent to the center within a period of one month after the date of receipt of the fee. The questions in the booklet and their answers are given in a very interesting manner, which the students can memorize very easily. Examination paper is of objective type containing short answers. Answers to questions to be written on question papers only at the specified blank spaces.
Examination Fees -
- The examination fee for all schools is Rs.20.00 / - per student for classes 4th to 12th. Out of this, Rs 2.00 per student is to be kept in the school and the balance amount of Rs.18.00 is to be sent to the office of Culture Awareness Examination Kurukshetra, date of receipt of which is 31 August 2019. The fee and registration sheet should be sent together otherwise sending the material from here will be delayed .
- The cost of the Bodhmala booklet, the question paper and the charge of the certificate is included in this amount. Additional Bodhāmāla book if required, will be available at Rs 10.00 per copy.
- The amount of the fee should be sent in name of " Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha" by making the bank draft or multi-cities cheque and send it to the Kurukshetra office address.
- Class wise number of students and teachers filled in the prescribed forms along with the number of class, list of names should be accompanied by the requisite fee. The fee should not be sent through any other means.
- In case of any cheque issued by you is dishonored, then the deduction made by the bank will be payable by you.
Note - For all the students studying in Vidya Bharati schools, it is mandatory to participate in the Culture Awareness Examination.
From the fee you retained by your school at the rate of Rs 2-00 per student have to spend the amount for assessment, postal expenditure and prize etc. This amount should not be spent on any other item.
From the amount received in the Central Office, Rs.1.00 per student will be sent to the provincial samiti, which should be used in the promotion work for the contacting and expanding the Cultural Awareness Examination. This amount will be used on the basis of mutual consultation and understanding between the Prantiya Mantri,Sangathan Mantri and the State level Co-ordinator of Sanskriti Bodh Pariyojna project.
Late Fees -
A late fee of Rs. 50/- will be charged per school for receiving the examination fee after 31 August 2019 upto 30 September 2019. These are the dates for receipt of the exam fees in Kurukshetra office. This late fee is fixed until 30 September. After this there will be a late fee of Rs 100.00 (one hundred rupees) per school along with the prescribed examination fee.
Examination Center -
Only the schools sending the fee will be made the examination centers and the Principal of the schools sending the fees will be the incharge of the examination center. On the basis of your contact the center of the examination for students from other schools shall be your school. So you have to give the information about the date and time of the exam to them.
Examination Paper -
Answer books containing the questions and the key containing answers will be sent in separate packets, but in any case question papers should not be opened before the examination time. The number of question papers kept in it will be written on the packet which will be checked by the school concerned. and in case of shortage of question paper, the centre incharge should immediately inform the examination office Kurukshetra. If you do not receive the question paper 15 days before the date of the examination, immediately inform the examination office. 5% more question-answer sheets are sent to the school for the purpose of evaluation. These should be used only for evaluation. Answer sheets for the 9th and 10th class will also be sent along with the questionnaire in a separate packet.
Exam Date -
If the Provincial Samiti considers appropriate, then it may decided the day of examination along with the examinations to be held in December. The date of the examination will be the same in whole region. This will be decided by the Regional Committee, the information of which will be sent by the Regional Coordinator to the Cultural Awareness Examination, Kurukshetra office at the beginning of the session. If you do not get the information about the examination date till November month, contact the office of the regional committee. The date of the examination should not be fixed before 17 December 2019 in any condition.
Evaluation -
The answer sheets will be evaluated under the supervision of the incharge of the Committee on the same day or the next day immediately after the examination. For this, help of qualified persons of the society can be taken. After preparing the mark sheets the evaluated answer sheets should be returned to the students. After the examination, students of class 9th to 12th can take their questionnaire. The OMR answer sheet will be sent to the Kurukshetra office in a sealed packet for assessment. The OMR SHEET of class 9th to 12th and Praveshika,Madhyama,Uttama and Pragya are expected to be sent to Kurukshetra office with the mark list of class 4th to 8th . Do not wait for other letters and send it soon.
Certificate -
Certificates of passing the exams will be given to the participants / students who have obtained 45 percent or more marks and Participation certificate will be given to the students obtaining less than 45 percent marks.Awards and Certificates Distribution -
Certificate should be distributed to the students who participated in the examination and the students who obtained first, second and third position or 100% marks should be rewarded class-wise by distributing prizes to them by organizing function by the Principal of their school. This award distribution program should be organized as a function by inviting the teacher groups of other contacted schools and parents.
Suggestion -
After the examination all types of suggestions should be sent to Kurukshetra office. After the completion of the examination, send the information containing number of examinee, the number of students passed, the number of participants of Vidya Bharati schools along with the participants of other schools in the enclosed form.
