All India Story Telling Competition (For Shishu and Baal Varg Students)
This year, a new dimension in the Cultural Awareness Project, namely Story Telling has been added with the view to develop the description style of narratives in student.
This year, the competition will be organized applicable from the school level up to the Dist., provinces, regions and all-India level.
Rule-
1- Categories of Story-Telling competition
(a) Shishu Varg (Class 4-5) ; (b) Baal Varg- (Class 6-7-8)
In the above two categories only the students of the assigned classes can participate.
2- In this competition, the students who come first at the regional level will be eligible for the Story-Telling competition at All India level on the theme for their assigned class.
Following are the subjects for the Story-Telling competition.
Varg Subject
Shishu Story based on historical event, mythological narrative or some inspiring incident.
Baal Story based on historical event, mythological narrative or some inspiring incident.
3- Time limit for Story-Telling-
Shishu Varg- 5 - 7 Minute Baal Varg- 5- 7 Minute
4- Bring three copies of the material content of the narrative for the judges. So that these may be given at the time of presentation.
5- This is a Story-Telling competition. Therefore bodily gestures should be in accordance to the statement.
6- Evaluation
(a) Subject matter - 15 marks
(b) Facts - 10 marks
(c) Style of Presentation and accuracy in pronunciations - 15 marks
(d) Language style - 5 marks
(e) Adherence to time limit - 5 marks
Total - 50 marks
7- Medium - Hindi or English.
8- All the three Judges will score individually on the mark sheets. First, second and third results will be declared on the basis of average calculated by adding the marks given by judges.
Note - The winner who secure the first position at the regional level in each category will participate in All India Level competition.
- The organizer will introduce the judges to the relevant rules.
- The decision of the judge will be final and acceptable to all.
All India Extempore Speech Competition
(For the Students of Kishor and Tarun Varg)
This year, in the dimension of the Culture Development Project, a new activity namely Extempore Speech Competition has been added with the view to develop the thinking faculty and proficiency in the skill of speech. This year, the competition will be organized from the school level up to the Dist., provinces, regions and all-India level.
Rule -
1- Extempore Speech Competition will be organized in two categories:
(a) Kishor Varg - (Class 9-10) ; (b) Tarun Varg - (Class 11-12)
In the above two categories only the students of the assigned classes can participate.
2- In this competition,these two categories of the Kishor and Tarun Varg shall have to deliver speech on the basis of picking the slips on the various current affairs. Only 3 minutes will be given for preparation.
3- Time limit -

Kishor Varg - 6 to 8 minute
Tarun Varg - 6 to 8 minute
6- Evaluation
